About a year ago I purchased sweet little red metallic Ford Escape from Steve Firestone for my daughter's first car. I must say, beyond my belief his personal warranty is worth its weight in gold. After the test drive I realized it had an exhaust leak and front rotors had way too much wear to be turned. My daughter had to be safe in her first car. Well Steve put new brakes and rotors plus replaced broken flex pipe in the exhaust before he let us leave with it and at no charge on top of making a very decent deal on the Escape in the first place. Then because of my suspicious nature I had it checked out at a local garage I know personally. The found a cracked ABS sensor sprocket on the right axle. This is about a $200 repair. I left the garage on Saturday and stopped by Firestone to see if my title had come in yet. I told Steve about what the garage found and he told me to have it there first thing Monday morning and he would take care of it. I got a call Monday evening saying it was ready for pick up. He replaced the whole right front axle, again at no charge to me. He saved me over $500 on top of making me a deal on my daughter's first car. Today you can still see her eyes sparkle when she gets behind the wheel. Who does this on an non-written warranty? Steve Firestone, that's who. Big 5 stars for a great company. - Jeffery W.
